Artist's Comments
I fell in love with the Llamas of Peru. These are some of the several that live on MachuPicchu. They roam freely throughout the structure and will follow the sound of your voice sometimes. Here we were walking up to the House of God, the passage way a short-cut, was small. We had to move out of their way because they weren't going to move out of ours. In fact they came so close to one woman's face and just continued to chew until she moved. This was my first up close encounter with Llamas. They are the friendliest out of cameloids.
